Fully automatic serialization system for serializing flat folding boxes
This powerful HSF friction feeder is the optimal solution when empty folding boxes are to be marked with variable data outside of the production line. The modular structure of the system makes it possible to integrate the desired marking technology.
The HSF separates the folding boxes from the stack in the infeed magazine. A sensor monitors the correct separation of the material electromechanically or by ultrasound. The boxes are guided to the printing station with two belts running in parallel. The marking is carried out there - eg with serialization data in the form of bar codes or data matrix codes and text. Depending on requirements, thermal inkjet, laser coders or even label printing and dispensing systems can be used.

application
The printed data is read and evaluated by an integrated camera - for example in dialogue with the optional b+b Site Manager software. Folding boxes recognized by the camera as illegible are automatically ejected by an ejection unit. A shingle delivery belt takes over the folding boxes and groups them for manual removal.
The performance of the system is infinitely variable between 10 and 30 meters per minute. The HSF is easy to operate and uncomplicated to use via the central IPC touch panel. Height-adjustable fixed and swivel castors enable flexible use as a mobile unit on various production lines. Optionally, the system can be equipped with a labeling module (vignettes).
